Poolen var meget slidt børnepoolen var nærmest så slidt at man ikke kunne være bekendt at sende sine børn der ned og den store pool var også slidt hvor der manglede flere musaiksten. Sengen på værelset manglede topmadress hvilket gjorde at den var mindre behagelig at sove på. Hovedpuderne var så store at man fik undt i nakken af at ligge på dem. "We enjoyed this apartment so much that we wanted to stay longer. At least in November, the bedrooms (especially the back one) were very quiet, so we slept soundly.
Yes, the living room, balcony, and "blue" bedroom really do have those beautiful views! And it was great being just a block from the bridge and seawalk, with all those restaurants. We also did a lot of walking downtown and throughout the city, as we didn't have a car.
As an American, the shower took a bit of getting used to, but it was fine. There were some strong winds while we were there, but the home is well insulated, and has both heat and AC.
The wifi worked great. The place was clean. The host was super friendly and helpful, with great communication (in English for our benefit). Check-in and check-out were easy. If we return to Chalkida, this would definitely be our top pick as a place to stay.
