The Chestnut

The Chataigne cottage, a charming and welcoming gîte that can comfortably accommodate up to 8 people, is located in a renovated old farmhouse, adjoining one other gîte and close to two others. We have chosen a simple and rustic decor, warm and reminiscent of the property's history. The charm of the farmhouse blended with modern touches. On the ground floor, access from the terrace opens onto the hall and a beautiful wooden staircase. To the left, the living room opens onto the fully equipped kitchen, which has access to the outside of the property, and then to a shower room. A first toilet is directly accessible from the hall. Upstairs: three bedrooms, two with a 160x200 cm bed and one with 8 single beds. A shower room with toilet is also located on this floor. Baby equipment (on prior request and subject to availability): cot, bathtub, high chair, potty, booster seat. NON-SMOKING COTTAGE. WIFI internet access with repeater. Part of the outdoor space is reserved for guests of the Chataigne cottage, with a dining area on the large esplanade in front of the shared farmhouse. A large pergola provides shade and coolness to this spacious terrace. On the property, you can relax in the courtyard with a shared barbecue, stroll through the gardens, orchards, and woods, or by the ponds located 100m from the cottage (fishing not permitted) thanks to the footpaths open on the property (approximately 3 km). Also available to all our guests is a ping-pong table, a covered and heated swimming pool (unsupervised, depth 95 cm to 140 cm) open from June 1st to September 30th from 10 am to 8 pm, and the opportunity to see animals on site (sheep, chickens).
