"Only stayed 1 night on business but what a place. Quiet location but close to Viveiro. Homecooked food depending on what is growing / farmed locally. 500 years old but extended and beuatifully maintained. Full of character. Beautiful gardens. Manageress was brilliant and very friendly. I would thoroughly recomment a stay there not matter how long. I intend to return next year with my wife for a holiday in the area."

"The apartments are very clean and well equipped. It is wealth worth paying the extra for the sea view rooms. The views are great. "This stay was at the end of a six-week tour of Portugal and Galicia in which we had stayed in a number of self catering properties. We thought this was one of the best. It is a lovely old house, elegantly extended and renovated to a high standard using fine timber and marble to create a harmonious space. It is well-appointed with a marvellous collection of interesting and quirky objects. We were very comfortable there and everything worked well, apart from a couple of light bulbs....

"Fantastic up-to-date apartment with washer/dryer and dishwasher. Two bathrooms with showers. One road back from the promenade. Private parking is available to pre-book which we didn't know about but we were lucky that we visited outside of summer season. Parking was difficult to find a space, sometimes, but we managed. "The location of this property is great - it’s a very quiet hamlet near to several beautiful beaches. Claudia was a fantastic host and provided a warm welcome and useful local information. However the house itself is far from perfect. It felt like we were camping indoors - no proper curtains, no sofa, a very basic kitchen and an old bathroom with a quite unpleasant smell. Our main complaint is that we were not given full access to the garden in the photos, which felt a bit cheeky as that was one...
