"It was my first time to Puna, but I hit the jackpot when I booked the Hotel Balsa Inn. Close to the main plaza and the main thoroughfare with all kinds of shops and restaurants, the hotel is super convenient to all that Puna has to offer. My room was clean and comfortable, and the spacious bathroom was particularly noteworthy (hot showers are sometimes hard to find in Peru!). Everyone at the front desk was incredibly helpful -- food recommendations, arranging tours, facilitating laundry services, etc. The breakfast buffet was a highlight -- lots of freshly-prepared options to start your day on a good note.
