"My wife and I travel a lot and this is one of the best hotels we have stayed. Great price and the view from the deluxe room was impeccable and from the surrounding property. Outstanding service from the front desk to the restaurant and the service, cleanliness of our room was impeccable. Extremely friendly staff and helpful from the day we arrived until the assistance with a TAXI getting back to Lima. Highly recommended and don’t miss out!"

"Oscar and his wife’s hospitality were great, always with a big smile. They made us feel welcome from the beginning. Oscar’s English is also impeccable. Our 11 year old daughter enjoyed all the animals at the viña to include rabbits, dogs, chicks, canaries and a goat. Their welcoming home- made wine was also very good. We highly recommend this hotel."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Cerro Azul?
The best area to stay in Cerro Azul is along the beachfront promenade, offering direct access to the main attractions and the ocean.

This area is the heart of Cerro Azul, running parallel to the Pacific Ocean. It's the central point for visitors, with the iconic pier as its focal point. You'll find a concentration of eateries, shops, and places to stay right on this stretch, making everything easily accessible on foot.

Couples looking for a relaxing coastal getaway will find this area perfect. You can enjoy strolls along the beach, watch the surfers, and dine at restaurants with ocean views. The convenience of having everything within walking distance means you can truly unwind.

Families will also appreciate staying along the beachfront. The easy access to the beach for playing in the sand and splashing in the waves is a big plus.
When is the best time to go to Cerro Azul?
The best time to go to Cerro Azul is during the dry season, which runs from April to November.

During these months, you'll experience consistently warm and sunny weather, making it ideal for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities. The ocean conditions are generally calmer, superb for surfing or simply relaxing by the sea. This period also coincides with fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, offering a more relaxed experience.

For those interested in surfing, the months of May to September often provide the most consistent waves, particularly for intermediate to advanced surfers. The dry, sunny weather also means you can spend more time in the water and less time worrying about rain.

Conversely, the wet season, from December to March, brings higher humidity and occasional rainfall. While still warm, the weather can be less predictable, and the ocean might be choppier.
