"Penzion Berc offers an excellent alternative to the "big-box" facilities located closer to lakeside. Rustic Bavarian-style architecture and atmosphere. Good on-site parking. Even though we arrived almost four hours early, we were immediately registered and ensconced in our rooms. Although only two persons, we booked a five-person accommodation, as was only thing available. Our's was a separate, standalone building, with main sleeping area on 2nd level. Main drawback was that the Berc Steakhouse Restaurant had already closed for the season. Disappointing, as we had planned to celebrate our 46th Anniversary in the restaurant, but understandable as late-October is a bit slow. Had exceptional alternative in the Grill Restaurant & Terrace, just a three-block walk downtown. Love Lake Bled and hope to visit again."
