"Our stay at City Hotel, Ljubljana was excellent from start to finish. The staff were extremely helpful. We arrived earlier than expected and were able to store our luggage whilst we went off to explore. Our room was everything we needed - clean, spacious and with some thoughtful extras (water, slippers, nice toiletries - and an umbrella!). The bed was very comfy, we both slept well!
Breakfast was also excellent, with so much choice, a really great start to a busy day travelling and exploring the city.
The bar is also great, lovely cakes too! The hotel offers a "green incentive" - if you don't need your room cleaned, you can have a voucher for a free drink.
There's a free water refill in the hotel lift lobby, we used that a lot - and lots of other amenities that we didn't use (gym, massage, terrace bar).
I would recommend a stay here - it's 5 minutes walk to the bus station, and about 5 to the river, so not only a great hotel, but also a brilliant location. I'm sure I'll stay here again."
