While traveling with my kids, we arrived exhausted and were welcomed by the property owners who immediately requested everyone to take off their shoes at the entrance of the hotel (they were scared our kids would dirty their carpeted floors) . "Almost everything about the chateau met our expectations and above. The approach to the building itself is lovely and the accommodation was also wonderful - very original and well thought out. We dined at the brasserie one evening which was lovely. It was low key with mainly sharing boards but we like that. The breakfast was a buffet and a number of the offerings were empty or nearly empty on the first morning as we were shortly before 9am, which was a disappointment but we arrived early on the second morning and everything was available. Breakfast was simple but pleasant. The staff everywhere were very helpful and friendly. "
