"Lovely, quiet location in a rustic cottage. Great for families. Bathing in the lake was wonderful in the heat. Those who didn’t want to bathe could sit in the shade of the surrounding trees. "

"Our group of 4 adults had a great stay at this property. While it was a tad tricky to find, Telma helped us through that and warmly greeted us at her charming property. After a quick tour and a few tips she left us with a fresh loaf of bread, some cheese, bottle of her local favorite wine and some pastries. The property was seemingly in the middle of nowhere with views over the local fields but in reality was only a few minutes from the autoroute making it a great base for exploring the area....

"La casa es muy cómoda, las fotografías la muestran tal y como es realmente. Queda cerca de Alcobaça y puedes desplazarte fácilmente a Nazaré, São Martinho do Porto, Foz de Arelho, Leiria... Nuestros perros disfrutaron de la estancia tanto como nosotros. Los padres de Gonçalo son absolutamente encantadores. Absolutamente recomendable. "

"Nous avons quitté les lieux plus tôt que prévu. La literie est catastrophique !!! Deux nuits ont suffit a nous casser le dos. Le logement n’est pas du tout adapté aux enfants, il manque cruellement de luminosité est très isolé de la civilisation. La cuisines n’est pas fonctionnelle ( pas d’eau chaud à l’évier, le peu d’ustensiles se délabre dans nos mains. La piscine se trouve dans le jardin des parents du propriétaire, donc il faut passer par un chemin de broussailles pour si rendre et une fois...

"The villa is exactly as shown in pictures: great atmosphere, it feels like a real familyhome! Everything you need is there: from a full kitchen to a full linencloset! Even things like washingpowder were provided. We (family of 6) loved the pool and eating together in the lovely backyard: either grilling on the outside kitchen or cooking in the very well equiped inside kitchen. "It was a lovely, clean house with everything one could need. The owner was always quick to respond to any questions I had. Outside of the city, so you will definitely need a car. But Caldas da Rainha and Óbidos are a conveniently nearby. It also has a spacious, well fenced yard that kept my escape artist dog safe. I highly recommend it."

"Close to Fundao and Covilha this location is perfect for those who like to be surrounded by nature yet close to town. The house is nice, yet rustic. As it mentions it’s off the grid, the house is heated by the fireplace, which is connected to a boiler system that also heats the towel rack and the 2 radiators in the bedrooms. Since we stayed in November that meant we to make a fire every night we came home from touring the area / visiting friends. It was a little more work than expected :). There...
