"We have been to this hotel 4 times before and is just as good this time. My only criticism is that every where is so dark the lighten is bad . "

"Stunning property set up in the hills, very peaceful and relaxing location with beautiful views. Pool and patio area is perfect surrounded by plants and with views down the valley. House is very well equipped and nicely decorated and the dart board and pool table are a big added bonus. Drive to property, as has been mentioned, is via windy mountainous roads but it's only the last quarter of a mile that is on a rough track. Small town is about 5 min drive (walking it would be quite a trek) and is a tradition Spanish town with a few good places to eat. The Tapas bar is especially cheap. Would have given 5 stars for everything but there was a slight issue with our booking/arrival and communication was a bit awkward however everything got sorted eventually and the lady who looks after property locally was lovely and super helpful despite language barriers. We actually only booked this property at quite short notice as our original booked villa had to cancel and we are so glad they did as it was absolutely perfect for us. We will certainly be returning."

"Absolutely stunning villa. The drive up is a little scary the first time and the rental car we had was not very good power wise would definitely recommend an automatic. Pool was lovely although it’s smaller than advertised but we made it work. All living areas are great absolutely can not fault it at all. Doris came to clean the pool during our stay she was lovely. You’re very out of the way though so depends what you like to do. For us it was nice and peaceful and we didn’t mind the drive. Loved the outdoor bbq we cooked on that every time we ate. Bedding and towels were all clean as was the whole villa good range of cooking equipment and utensils we found the only thing it lacked was a decent size chopping board which we bought and left. Also would have been nice if there was some beach items to use such as cool bag and blocks, chairs and a brolley because you don’t want to have to buy your own and leave nor do you want to have to pay for the lounges on the beach so that would be a nice touch. We couldn’t find pegs either so bought some and left them for the next people. Overall a fantastic 2 week stay. W head a power cut one morning rang the agent and got in touch with the property manager. Everyone was very helpful in keeping us informed etc. brilliant service. "

"First family holiday for some years & we had high expectations. Villa was new on rental market with no reviews so we were a little nervous but went ahead. It did not disappoint, it was fabulous, exactly as described & matched the images perfectly. Arnold, our host, was very welcoming, extremely helpful, very responsive & communicated well. He lived on-site, was incredibly discrete & we were not aware of his presence. We appreciated his immediate & personal care & attention when we had an issue resetting an air-con unit & fixing a shower issue. Villa was amazing - very private & secure, very large, high-standard, well-stocked, incredibly comfortable for our group of 8. Cluster of 3 ground-floor bedrooms worked perfectly for my daughter & young family with ensuite & main bathroom between the 4 of them. 2 bedrooms on first floor with terrace & including master suite - enormous & extremely comfortable with large dressing room & bathroom. Multiple indoor/outdoor dining/sitting/relaxing options, amazing poolside kitchen/dining area. Very safe for young children with lockable gates down to pool area, lovely gardens, wonderful views of the lake. Shops & restaurants a short drive away, walked to 2 during our stay, car recommended if you want to explore. We did not want to come home and would definitely return, either with family or friends. I wish I had more characters to be able to write more. Thank you, Arnold, for doing everything possible to make our stay the best it could be. "

"The property is in a lovely area next to the road that was never busy.This was our 4th visit to Vinuela but first time in Los Romanas the villa had everything that we needed.Okay it is a little ‘tired’ in places and needs some TLC but saying that, it was very clean and super comfortable beds but the views outside by the pool are lovely and spent lots of time there.Would I recommend it ….. yes.Vincent is a great host and very easily contactable if needed."
