"Hotel is in a perfect location in the centre of the old town. Lots of restaurants nearby and bakery across the road. Staff were great and nothing was too much trouble. Room was large and very comfortable."

"Very friendly welcome from the helpful staff. Location was fantastic. Two minutes walk from train station and 10 minutes walk from city centre. Large rooms that were spotlessly clean. Maybe a little dated, but everything you’d need. Lots of choices at breakfast. Would stay again and recommend. "

"Stayed for the weekend, it’s a lovely hotel, fabulous buffet breakfast, the price we paid for breakfast at the hotel was a lot cheaper than the price quoted when we booked the hotel. In an email to the hotel prior to my stay I mentioned we were staying there to celebrate our birthdays, they left a bottle of fizz and cake in our room for us, it was a beautiful gesture, making our stay extra special. The en-suite bathroom was lovely and spacious, with a hairdryer. The beds were comfortable. In the cupboard was a garment steamer, which I thought was brilliant instead of an ironing board and iron. The only negative, was the coffee machine in the room did not work, the capsules just fell throughout. Overall, a great hotel and stay. The location is great for exploring the city. "
