"Had a lovely stay at Olivier’s gite. It is comfortable and well appointed, though we found the stairs to the bedroom a little steep to begin with.The surroundings are beautiful, and we were delighted to have been visited by Olivier’s peahen with her chicks and then the peacock himself, and the bird life in general was incredible.Olivier was a helpful and pleasant host, and we hope to visit again in the future."

"Very charming cottage. The host was very friendly and very responsive. I would have rated 10/10 if not for the following: although the place was clean, it smelled very damp and was very humid; the internet was not suitable for heavy usage (although the host informed me on our departure day that the lines will be upgraded within the next few weeks); there are hidden fees not mentioned on the site for towels and sheets, along with extra fees for electricity usage.Apart from that, the location is fantastic and all the amenities were as described (except that there is actually no hot tub, I believe it's a listing mistake).If you're looking for a homebase to visit the surrounding Angers, and castles, etc. this is a great place!"
