"We went for a relaxing, restful getaway and it did not disappoint. We were familiar with the area but new to the cottages location."

"Yes the room was very clean. Room temperature good. Bed comfy. Bathroom was sufficient. Only complaint being there was no place to put our toiletries. The shelf over the sink was too much small to hold anything except the tooth paste and brushes. That left the toilet tank and so we had to leave our things in our bags. Could use some hooks on the bathroom door too. Also there was a coffee maker with sugar but no coffee and no tea."

"House was clean and had everything we needed and the small things we forgot were able to be picked up at the dollar general down the road. Steps to loft and lower level were steep but manageable. Fire pit was nice but full of ash, once cleaned out we were able to use it. Also no wood was provided so be sure to bring some or request that some is provided before you get there. Having the kitchen and game room on the lower level and the bedrooms on the first and second floor was unusual but it worked out as the kitchen door is level with the deck and people playing games late at night weren't disturbing those that went to bed early. Access to the lake was challenging due to the lake at winter pool so after winter draw down the best ramp to use was the one at Kenlake statepark which has free use and parking. We would stay at this property again. "

"My friend and I are quilters and we took our sewing machines and worked on projects for 3 days. The dining table was perfect for our needs and the kitchen had new stainless steel appliances and everything we needed to cook all our meals. Loved the deck and porch in the wooded setting. The gas fireplace made it nice and cozy on the cool days. Highly recommend!"

"This is a great place to get away! The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the apartment is decorated very nicely. Even though the apartment is located very close to the host’s home, we did not feel like we were “sharing space.” We did choose to eat some of our meals on property, and the kitchen provided everything we needed for our family. We enjoyed the fire pit and outdoor space. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to get away from it all while still being close enough to activities and restaurants. Looking forward to returning!"
