Hotel St James was exactly what we wanted! The room was clean before we got there and always cleaned upon request. The staff was very helpful, we had a few questions/requests and they never hesistated to assist. The air conditioner worked well! Two days were very hot in the city so coming back to a cold room was incredible. We would definitely stay again.

The best airbnb Ive stayed at in New York with the best price for our family of 6. The place was so clean, amenities looked brand new. It had a homey feel to it, my kids didnt want to leave. We will definently be booking again in the future.

"What a dirty, unkempt, broken down hotel. They're under renovation but even the new touch ups are cheap, messy, and thrown together. They need better contractors.
