This is my second time here, everything looked like it was renovated, it was very nice and clean. My friend and I loved it here. Will definitely be coming back !
If what you are looking for is a remote, off the grid experience, this is it! It was quiet and full of nature. We were not prepared for the intensity of mosquitoes after this wet spring, but Olivia thankfully shared bug spray with us. This experience will live on in our memories forever.
Great place for a weekend away/roughing it. Had a little difficulty finding the place at first, and no cell service to contact anyone. Make sure you go ALL THE WAY down the road to get to it. Would have been easier if this was pointed out, but all in a great trip/place
Justin’s directions to the property are SPOT ON. It is very easy to get to using the description. The tipi was wonderful! The site was a good size and the access to the trails nearby were a bonus. The wood oven stove was clean and in good condition. Everything went off without a hitch honestly. Very fun!

Other noisy campers
1. Wood stove was full of ash and trash can for ash was full of ash
2. The lock at the gate was glitchy; we couldn’t unlock it; fortunately a fellow camper showed up and opened the lock
3. Couldn’t reach owner bc of bad reception
4. There was a group of people playing loud music and yelling when we were trying to get to sleep
5. Didn’t stay the 2nd night.
5. The wood shed was empty; had to get wood from near the yert
Travis is great for sharing his piece of earth with us! The teepee is on a platform as seen in the pics and the woodstove really does keep it toasty. Travis was great in answering my questions and helping us to plan for our trip. We knew when we booked that weather might work against us. The first night and morning were great. Chilly outside but cozy in the teepee. The second day we errored in our judgment of the weather and while we're were out hiking it poured and the Temps were low. In all honesty if we had wanted to needed to, I think we could have started up the fire and done ok, but we opted to call it. Like I said we had realistic expectations that it might be a reality. It speaks more to our lack of hardiness than the expectations of a teepee. I am super excited to get back sometime this summer though and to take advantage of the location of this property in relation to hiking trails in the national forest. My boys thought it was an awesome experience and are also excited to try again with a little more preparing.
Beautiful location with a ton of privacy. Couldn’t find the outhouse anywhere, but I also didn’t ask so that’s nobodies fault but my own & the air mattress needed to be blown up every few hours unless you don’t mind sleeping on the wood floor. We stayed during a 28° night, as long as you keep the wood burning and refill every few hours you’ll be good. It was a great place to unplug & unwind :)

It’s not what the site says
Weeds were 5 feet tall all around the perimeter of tipi no air mattress I slept in our vehicle tipi had weeds coming through the floor the stove was filled with ashes I have before and after pictures it was a horrible experience and most likely will not ever rent through this site again the directions are not up to par …!!! Not happy at all never again..
The teepee was fun to hangout in as the wood stove kept it cozy. We didn’t stay the night inside as the door was under maintenance. You could hear the neighboring sites so it wasn’t as secluded as we were hoping. Overall, recommend staying there for the experience itself!
