"We were on adventure through the South and had to stop for over night close to Naples. This is 4* hotel. The building is undergoing refurburishment and scaffolding is all over the building. We arrived around 10pm and we were greeted coldly-could be the language barrier? Then the shock that very loud music being broadcasted on all floors which wasn't switched off until we called the receptionist to do so. "We can’t say enough about our lovely, welcoming stay at this spectacular historical home. Every detail & comfort had been thoughtfully considered. Well-appointed & clean. The breakfast blew us away with local dishes for us to try, we needed bigger stomachs. We had a parking pass right outside the door, making it super easy to get to, unlike other places we had visited throughout Italy. Our hostess, Leticia, was very communicative and even tried to help my husband connect with his family roots....
