"Overall the building was quite tired but the cleanliness of the areas and the rooms is can’t fault. Cleaners were great. Negative was my room looked onto train tracks and police car compound so couldn’t leave window open at night as too loud. Good position centrally in town although better to turn right out of hotel than left in evenings as local road to left wasn’t safest. "

I enjoyed my stay. 20 min walk to central Dublin and it's a nice easy flat walk. The surrounding area seemed safe and quiet. There were some unusual bumps at night! But I used earplugs, just seemed to be a lot of activity in the apartment block also, the bed was a bit lumpy but nothing I couldn't sleep on and through. "We stayed for a few nights and found it was lovely and big campus. We weren't told where to have breakfast and we got lost trying to find it, then we didn't get told what we could eat in terms of our coupons and we didn't get to eat the following two days after paying for it. The room was standard but good enough for staying in for sleeping, the sink was leaking, the tap was cracked and we got soaked in the rain and the radiator didn't even turn on. "The proximity of the property to downtown Dublin is unbeatable. Being located between the Guinness Storehouse and the Temple Bar made walking a breeze. The parking was extremely secure and I felt comfortable leaving my rental car. My only issue was exiting the locked car park early in the morning. I was given a number to call if I left before 10am to open the gate. They were helpful, but it still took ~20 minutes before I could get out of the car park. "

The location was very good: a short walk to the Liffey River and touristy section of Dublin. The immediate Area of LIVStudent Dublin was less touristy and had some good pubs (Cobblestones has good live music, Walsh's Pub had great atmosphere, bartenders, and friendly locals) and restaurants (Lavanda, Wuff). "It's very central location, though sketchy enough late at night.. like any major city Dublin despite its relaxed vibe has a drug problem and to be aware of your soroundings is important.. Take common sense care and you should enjoy your visit. I stayed for one night in a small single room ,with a sink in the room .. bed was comfortable , staff are very friendly, and despite that morning no hot water in shower. Dublin is now very expensive to visit and with some extra effort in maintenance...
