"Exactly as expected, very clean, very well put together, very comfortable, and very accomodating. The kitchen was a just as you would expect in your home, the gas stove top was wonderful and there was even a coffee grinder. Very comfortable beds, screened in porch, books, games, etc. Trying to think of a negative......and I can't."

"This place is absolutely wonderful and just what I was looking for. The bed was comfy, the unit was clean, the porch was amazing. The views from the swing were so pretty. I spent most of my time just swinging and watching the water. I didn’t realize that the view would be as great as it was. I go to Harker’s Island every year and I hope to make this my place to rent each year. I can’t brag enough about the property. My only complaint is that I knew there wasn’t a stove in the unit as mentioned, so I made sure to bring lots of cold items like sandwich meats, pre packaged salads, lunchables, things like that. According to the pictures, the fridge in the kitchen was a good size fridge so bright food accordingly so I’d be prepared for five days with no stove. I was very disappointed to see the fridge that’s actually in the unit is not the one pictured in the rental description. It was only a very small mini fridge that’s on the ground so I had to get on my knees to be able to get anything in and out of it. Since I brought a bunch of fresh food expecting to be able to refrigerate it, I had fi buy another cooler and bags of ice daily to keep my food and drinks in since there was no room in the fridge for anything other than a couple bottles of water and the sandwich meats. Thats my only complaint which was inconvenient at the time but the views, the comfort of the whole area made it all just a perfect getaway. If they would get a bigger fridge, it would be 10/10!! I love the swing!"
