"We absolutely loved our week at the Green Shutters. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time in the pool, we found the gîte very comfortable, and Gers is definitely an undiscovered gem of a region. And to top it off Ron and Ann are wonderful hosts!"

"Charming hotel but definitely not for the English speaking traveler. Hotel staff (the night we checked in) was unable/unwilling to assist us in securing a taxi, so we ended up leaving after just one (out of our non-refundable two!) night. Overall, disappointed with our experience. "

"The meals were expensive and were the same every night. Would struggle if staying more than 3 nights due to limited choice. Outdoor pool was not heated so extremely cold for swimming Indoor pool was fabulous with adjoining sauna and steam rooms but would work out very expensive at 22 euros for 2 hours. Not something to afford every day of the stay!"

"We loved our stay so much last year we returned for more. Our second visit did not disappoint - it really is a little paradise. Our trip highlight was a visit to the Abbaye de Flaran .... the current art exhibition included some amazing sculptures by Dali. Thanks to Frederique for the recommendation and everything else."
