"The room was decent, and the location was excellent. The air conditioning worked well, which made the stay comfortable. The property does not have an elevator, and since our room was on the first floor, we had to carry our luggage up a fairly steep set of stairs, which was a bit inconvenient. The hotel staff were not particularly friendly and were only available after 1 PM, which could be limiting for some guests. Overall, it offers good value for the money, especially considering the location. "

"This hotel has an excellent location. The room size was decent for our group of three (two adults and one child), and it included both a queen bed and a twin bed. The mattresses were comfortable, and the overall space in the room felt adequate. The check-in instructions were a bit confusing at first, but the hotel staff were helpful in assisting us. The room could be better maintained—for example, the bathroom had slow drainage, causing water to accumulate before draining. Additionally, some of the door hooks were either missing or not functioning properly. One major discomfort was the constant noise from the restaurant—music as well as chatter from staff or guests—which was especially noticeable at night. It would be great if the hotel could find a way to better contain the noise during late hours. These weren’t major issues overall, but they were small inconveniences that could be easily addressed to improve the guest experience. "

"El Navegante Hostel is a simple and safe place to stay while visiting Culebra. The property is clean, well-located, and offers a relaxed island atmosphere that fits the spirit of the island. It’s a convenient base if you plan to spend most of your time exploring around. The accommodations are quite basic and could benefit from a few improvements. The bedding quality is fairly minimal and could be upgraded for better comfort. There are also no options for storing or hanging clothes, which makes it a bit inconvenient for travelers staying more than a night or two. Additionally, the shower pressure is very weak, which can make it difficult to properly rinse after a long day at the beach. Overall, it’s a clean and secure hostel that serves its purpose for a short island stay, but with a few upgrades to comfort and amenities it could provide a much better guest experience."

"The pool was great. Very few people there, plenty of space. Previous guest reviews indicated that there were beach chairs for use but there were none. We bought two and left them in the unit for future guests. Check with host before you book. Beach chairs was a primary consideration for us when we booked."
