The room was clean,I would like for them to put a safe in the room,live tv would be great,I like hotels with a bar and a restaurant,this hotel doesn’t have that,they should look into adding that.

Straight across from the water taxi terminal, so it was super easy to get to. Staff was incredibly friendly, and the place was exactly what we were looking for.

The property is centrally under some construction. When the construction is done, I would highly recommend this hotel. The hotel staff were wonderful, and the rooms were roomy and clean. I will stay there on my next visit.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. We especially appreciated the amazing staff including Alicia, Jenny, Arianna, Juan and Ian. Great staff at a convenient location to the water taxi. Be sure to ask if you book with a break as I think we were supposed to get it too but I didn't ask, from what I understand it includes vouchers to nearby places. Great experience and if returning we'd stay again!

The hotel is beautiful but it’s still under construction: they are putting in an elevator and a roof top swimming pool. They do not have dining on site. However, there are wonderful places to dine, swim and shop in walking distance. It also has a view of the sea. L&E

The hotel was amazing. Only issue we had was that we were on the fourth floor and no elevator.

The Caye Hotel is located right off the pier from the water taxi and also located on the strip to eat and sign up for excursions. The hotel was peaceful, spacious rooms, and had a great sunrise view.

A new construction, the inside of the hotel, and the room were excellent. The staff also were very good and helpful. The Caye Caulker locals had a general predatory nature pushing the tourist trap ideology. That was a definitely a negative and we left the island early as a result.

This hotel is very convenient. Right across from the arrival ferry on Caye Caulker. Accessible to shopping and dining and outings. Staff is verh helpful and friendly. I will go back. Love it!

Nice place. Modern updated rooms. No elevator so if you get the 5 th floor like we did. Plan on loosing a few lbs. Long hike.

While the hotel is very modern. It is a lot of stairs. The staff was not available when it was time for me to check out so I had to carry luggage myself. Go slow is a understatement. I had to call every day by noon to get my trash dumped. It was definitely in walking distance to everything which was a plus.

We had booked a room through Expedia and paid for it but when we arrived they charged us an extra $21.33 US. Beware. I guess it is in the Expedia fine print but I am not used to this type of treatment Beware !

The check in/ out process needs restructuring. While checking in the staff member checking us in was checking us in at the same time as as another party. She left our credit card out and visible for anyone to take down the number. She also took an astronomical amount of time explaining the "rules" of the hotel. And we couldn't check out until a staff member walked through our room. It was very interesting to check in and out of this hotel. We would probabaly stay here again but we would look for other options before we booked again.

This hotel has a lot of promise but I can’t recommend at this time. The staff are so lovely and the rooms are large and well appointed. Some have balconies with views of the water and are great for people and bat watching at night. There is heavy duty construction at this time - think jack hammering from 8am to 5pm. I’m guessing it will be loud for months and this is the biggest detractor. They are putting in a small roof top pool and an elevator. Hot water is non-existent in the morning. The location is amazing if you can tolerate a little noise. It’s right across front street from the water taxi but also a basketball court where youth play into the evening. Street food vendors show up in the evening and serve yummy food. La Cubana is right across the street and has great food and drinks. There are balconies with a view of the water and it’s great for people watching. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Our phone didn’t work and we had one closet rack broken and the robe we were provided (just one) didn’t have a tie. You can ask for a kettle for hot water and there is an extra mini fridge and safe in the room. Bed was very comfortable. Overall a great place that needs some improvements which they are working on.

They pictures on their website show a roof top amenities, but all was under construction. They were installing an elevator which was next to our room. We were never told of all the construction that would be taking place. They advertised they had a TV, but it had no cable or local channels = no TV. To be fair there was a TV hanging on the wall. They charged us for using a towel to dry a dog off. The manager was very very rude. He should be require to have PR classes. One night saw us at a restaurant we were eating at and actually stopped and lectured us at our dinner table about the towel issue. Why would a manager threaten a guest that he would call the police if they don’t pay a fee that they felt was ridiculous. We are a couple in our 60’s who have never been a problem anywhere we have been. He made us feel very unwelcome. The girls at the front desk were extremely friendly and I believe genuinely felt bad for his behavior. I hope this helps someone from not having to experience what we did. Despite Mr. Juan’s behavior from The Caye Caulker hotel we had a pleasant vacation. I guess when you think you have done your homework you might need to do more.

Excellent location right across from the water taxi. Everything in town is walkable and this hotel was no exception. The front desk staff could use some training and need things explained several times. It took getting used to for us not to flush toilet paper. The AC works but could definitely use an upgrade. Would stay again.
