Stunning peaceful cabana on the reef side of Caye Caulker!
This great self-contained cabana is only a short walk from the village, yet far enough away to enjoy real peace and quiet.

The cabana offers a semi-secluded accommodation experience and comes with owners dedicated to ensuring your stay is comfortable.

Ideal for 2 people seeking a tropical hideaway, the cabana is situated 65 feet from the ocean. A gated fence in the adjacent lot, allows for easy access to the beach. The Gumbo Limbo Aria Kat Art Cabana is a studio apartment with queen size bed and AC. Private bath with hot and cold water. Lounge area and kitchenette with fridge, microwave and 2-burner hotplate, etc., large private veranda with hammock and chairs. An outdoor grill plus complimentary bikes and WiFi make this cabin a terrific value.

If you don’t want to ride the complimentary bikes, there are many golf cart taxis on the island available. Also, it is only a 10-minute walk to the village.

We respect your privacy but are always available if you need something.

This brand new cabana is the latest addition to The Gumbo Limbo.
This rental is not oceanfront, but only steps from the water. Have coffee or a cocktail on the large veranda with the Caribbean breeze in a private setting.

Great place to stay.

This accommodation is in a nice quiet location, but with easy access to island activities and restaurants. Decent bikes are provided and this a great way to move around this charming island. Ben and Aria are friendly, helpful hosts.

Gumbo Limbo / Caye Caulker

The cabana was very clean and well equipped for our stay. It is located inside a fenced in area just off the beach. We loved the seclusion and relaxed feel. I would definitely stay there again.

A few days to unwind

We spent a week on Ambergris and didn't want to leave Belize yet so we added three days to our stay on Caye Caulker. Our Art Cabana was perfect for us super clean, close to the beach and airport. Just great!

Charming art-filled cabana

We loved staying here in spacious cabana in quiet neighborhood near restaurants and shops. We had everything we needed here and appreciated having a peaceful cool oasis we could return to after a day of activities. Whenever we needed anything Ben was quick to respond and help. We’ll always remember this one of a kind home away from home.

Fantastic location for a relaxing vacation.

Good location away from the crowded areas of Caye Caulker, but still close enough to walk to anything. The cabana was furnished with everything we needed, good use of space. Comfortable bed, plentiful hot water in the shower. Close proximity to the ocean, and access to the chairs on the beach was very nice. Lovely deck for relaxing with coffee or a Belikin. Bicycles included were also a great perk. Very friendly and responsive hosts! Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful art-filled Cabana for 2 on Caye Caulker, Belize

We spent our first week in Belize in this delightful Cabana in a quiet neighborhood that's close to everything there is to see and do on the island. WE rode the two bikes that were included in the rental to delicious breakfast cafes in the morning and we walked to some of the best restaurants on the island for dinners in the evenings. Everything you need is close by, and you feel like you're part of a tropical Caribbean island paradise.

We loved Gumbo Limbo, It was just perfect for us. What a wonderful little island and Gumbo was the perfect place to stay for us ! We got to experience Belize independence day ! Tito and Shadow were always there to greet us when we came home !

The Perfect Experience in Caye Caulker

This little compound of homes offers peace, privacy, a truly authentic experience. Simplicity abounds! You have absolutely everything you could need in a safe and abundant environment. The hosts are incredible and are available if needed. This is our second time visiting Gumbo Limbo and it will remain, forever in our hearts.

Paradise

This was a wonderful property where you really "Go Slow". Booking was easy, there was clear communication and Flor was there to greet us when we arrived. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing week. We would recommend this property to anyone.

This place is a gem!

My husband and I stayed here for three days in November. As soon as we checked in we wished we had booked it for longer. Every single thing about the place was perfect. The pictures posted on VRBO somehow don't capture just how lovely it is. The owners Ben and Aria are delightful and their two dogs, Shadow and Tito are the very best. When we make a return visit to Caye Caulker we will absolutely choose the Gumbo Limbo again!

Oasis

What a wonderful compound; clean, access to bikes, hammocks and chairs to enjoy the sun, a bar avaliable; easy walk to the ocean for swimming or around the path to explore the island. Bikes were available which made getting around the island easier than we had anticipated. Our hosts were very friendly and responsive and gave clear instructions and resources to guide our stay. Would love to come back to caye caulker and stay here again

Great place to go slow

We enjoyed our stay at the gumbo limbo property and would return! Everything is as it is listed. Requested an additional blanket and the host provided this upon arrival. Just far enough to be away from main road, but a quick bike ride to anything on the island. Saw humming birds in the morning and enjoyed quick ocean access.

We enjoyed our stay at Gumbo Limbo very much. It was the quiet,peaceful setting that we were looking for. All of the amenities we required were a short bike ride or walk away. We used the free bikes extensively, and enjoyed riding around the small cay. Our only comment would be that the bikes weren't in the best condition, one of them had the chain come off one evening when were coming home, but we were able to fix it and continue. Ben and Aria, as well as Tito and Shadow were fantastic hosts!

A perfect home base

Gumbo Limbo is the perfect home base for your stay on Caye Caulker. It's located walking distance to anywhere you wanna go, but is far enough away from the main drag to enjoy some peace and quiet. Ben is a very welcoming host, who will offer good recommendations and small talk, but gives you lots of space and quiet to enjoy your stay. The AC works great, which is a huge benefit in the heat and humidity, the bed is comfortable, and the place generally had nice simple vibes. Finally, the pooches are incredibly friendly and love to make new friends, which as a dog person really adds a lot to the whole stay. From nice bikes to new split unit ACs to a direct path to the ocean, it's clear Ben and Aria put a lot of energy into keeping their place updated and accommodating to their guests. Highly recommend Gumbo Limbo, it's everything you need, nothing you don't, all wrapped up in a cute little plot with sweet cabanas, nice plants, and outdoor lounging just steps from the ocean.

Better than Expected

Very seamless process checking in and getting set up. 5 minute walk from the airport along the beach which was perfect (longer by road). Ben was great, on the property when we needed him. TV in the room with a fire stick, a little tikki bar on the small property and fully stocked with a pay as you go honor system. Four different units on the property, hardly saw the others but an open bbq area to all hang or cook your own dinner. General seating area, hammocks, bikes for everyone. Made coffee every morning with the French Press which was awesome. Bathroom very functional, great shower and everything we needed. Slightly out of the busy-ness in Caye Caulker but still right in it. Bikes on the property to use have you within a 1 minute commute of anything. Lovely place!
