"Our stay at the Dock House was definitely more GLAMPing than camping. We had a great breeze which allowed for us to sleep with the windows open and no mosquito net needed. The bed was the most comfortable bed we have experienced in Belize. (We have been traveling to Belize for years and typically stay in places under $200/night). We had breakfast both mornings and really enjoyed it! Very peaceful 2 days up north. 10/10 recommend!"

"There are some barking dogs next door in the morning, but not too bad. If you are on the upper floors there is no elevator. Restaurant/bar is good, pool is much smaller than the picture. Very close to the boat ferry landing."

Zenses Hotel in Caye Caulker

"We loved staying at Zenses! We were up graded to an oceanfront room. The staff was very helpful and friendly! The room was very clean and spacious and house keeping was very attentive. For a Hotel that just opened they are running a tight ship! We look forward to staying there again! We we loved staying on the north side, very peaceful and loved being close to Bliss Beach. We had a golf cart for half the time, but also used the hotels free ferry back-and-forth to the southside."

"We had originally booked a 3-night stay and needed to change our dates. We arranged the change by email with the hotel manager, who confirmed in writing that everything was updated. However, upon arrival, we were told that the reservation had never been changed and that there was no availability for our third night. We showed the written confirmation to the manager on site, but he explained that the employee who had confirmed the change was no longer working there and that the hotel would not honor the agreement. As a result, we only had accommodation for two nights and had to find another hotel at the last minute. We requested a refund for the third night, but it was denied. This happened in late January, and I am still waiting for reimbursement while Expedia and the hotel continue to pass the responsibility back and forth. There were also other issues. A karaoke bar located next to the hotel was extremely noisy and made it difficult to sleep before midnight. In addition, the photos are misleading, as they suggest amenities such as a pool are on-site when they are actually located elsewhere. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this hotel."
