- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- During colder months, guests are encouraged to use the electric fireplace in the playroom and the space heater in the office/bedroom for additional comfort.
- Air conditioning is seasonal (typically May through September). A split-system AC cools the main living area, while window AC units cool the bedrooms and extension.
- The property is served by a septic system. Please flush toilet paper only—no wipes, feminine products, or other items.
- The home is located in a natural setting with abundant wildlife, including bears, raccoons, deer, foxes, wild turkeys, turtles, and many bird species. Please do not leave food outdoors, and always securely close the bear-resistant trash bin.
- Seasonal burn bans (typically mid-March through mid-May) may restrict use of the outdoor fire pit. Please check local regulations before lighting a fire.
- Please be respectful of the quiet neighborhood by keeping noise to a minimum and remaining on the property or public roadway when walking pets.
- In winter, do not use salt or de-icer on the wooden entry steps, as it can damage the recently refinished wood.
