Top Castlemartyr Hotel Reviews
Isaacs Hotel Cork City
8/10 Good
"My 2nd time staying with Issacs, chosen for its ideal location on Mc Curtain Street, now called the Victorian Quarter. This area is filled with great bars and a variety of places to eat all within a 15 min walk from the city centre. Issacs provide guests with the option to pay more to stay a short 8 minute walk in a one or 2 bedroom apartment. This provides a great flexible option . Apartments are well appointment and well decorated. Guests are not warned prior to their stay or at check-in that the apartments are located next to a bar with live music , this may be an issue for those with children or those who are light sleepers. My apartment on this occasion was on the first floor and unfortunately smelled of drains due to sitting water in either the dishwasher or washing machine. Even with the windows open during my 4 day stay the smell did not go away. With windows open you can also smell food cooking from the adjacent buildings at the back. But overall a good comfortable stay again and I will return again"
Imperial Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Wonderful hotel with great staff - please bring back the Michael Collins cocktail in the bar - we missed seeing it on the list otherwise just an amazing stay for our second visit"
Leonardo Hotel Cork
10/10 Excellent
"Staff were very friendly"
Maldron Hotel Shandon Cork
8/10 Good
"Great spot to stay and very central to the city and night life. Very clean and spacious room. Only down side is no air conditioning. Enjoyed our stay for 3 nights!"
Rochestown Park Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Cet hôtel fut une belle trouvaille pour notre famille. Voyageant avec 3 jeunes enfants, nous avons apprécié l’espace que la chambre nous procurait. Les installations étaient superbes et bien aménagées. La ville de Cork n’était pas trop loin rendant les déplacements courts. Nous recommandons définitivement cet établissement à d’autres voyageurs."
Cork International Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Although this hotel is near the airport and not the city center, we used the public bus both ways to the city center and it was very easy. The front desk staff can give you information about the bus. Taking the shuttle to the airport is very easy - just tell the lobby desk what time you'd like to leave and they will arrange it. The shuttle typically leaves every half hour. Food in The New Yorker was very good."
Carrigaline Court Hotel and Leisure Centre
8/10 Good
"Staff the service and the hotel was excellent. We did have breakfast so I am not sure about that however their pool is also a community pool which made us not even to go and use it. When we checked it out it was packed with people. Also they close the pool very early specifically on weekends."
Clayton Hotel Cork City
8/10 Good
"The room was very spacious and felt premium. However, one of the curtains was damaged, and there was a large stain on the carpet. Though this was only minor as they were only slight cosmetic issues. The biggest issue was the air-conditioning as it barely even worked. We actually found it was more cooling to open the window. If you’re booking because their air conditioning I recommend you book elsewhere. Overall, it was really nice, and the restaurant was also great, I recommend you get the chocolate orange pudding. Also, remember to bring a swim cap as they require it at the pool. They do have swim caps for purchase for €4 if you don’t pack one as well."
