The area is very scenic. I thought the Wooden Boat Centre at Franklin was very interesting and well worth a visit for anyone who is interested in quality craftsmanship using traditional methods - excellent!

Check in we were told what we can and cant do which I understand but this I'd never experienced, told the wood for the fire is expensive try not to have a fire. The house is straight out of the 70s, dark interiors made the place feel depressing. Nik naks everywhere, bathroom sink and unit smelt damp, ...
