Second time at this cottage - beautiful scenery. Away from everything- which is what we wanted. Well equipped kitchen and fantastic hot tub. You can walk to the local pub, but it’s not the easiest walk - no path and up hill on way back, but do a nice meal. It is so peaceful and has amazing views. Will definitely go back again.

A really superb house! We enjoyed the space and the garden, shame about the weather that we couldn't use the hot tub.Great owners, there if needed but not seen otherwise, friendly dog although it was initially a bit disconcerting when it came into the garden.Would definitely return.

We stayed for half term and The House was great from start to finish, from the arrival instructions
We stayed for half term and The House was great from start to finish, from the arrival instructions to the welcome basket. The rooms were large and fully stocked with everything you'd need from a holiday home with a file with all the information you would want to know about the house, local area, appliances, visitor attractions and places to eat. The Hot tub was great to sit in and watch the night sky even if it was a little cold. The location was good to be out in the country yet so close with Castle Douglas only a few minute drive away with all the shops you would need.

We had a wonderful time on our stay here .
We had a wonderful time on our stay here .The farmhouse is a beautiful place with the most amazing character . We loved how rural it was and the hot tub oh what a treat it was fab . We also arrived to a beautiful welcome basket of goodies what a sweet gesture the hosts made us feel soooo welcome not only with the welcome pack but with a message on our last night letting us know we could take our time leaving in the morning as there is no one arriving after us . We’re already planning on coming back we made the best memories here for my dads 70th that we’ll never forget thank you to the hosts for letting us experience your beautiful property ðŸ˜ðŸ¥°
