"Receptionists were very welcoming, informative and friendly. We found all staff to be friendly and helpful. The bar staff worked extremely hard, and dealt with the volume of customers in a friendly, respectful and professional manner. Breakfast and service were very good, staff friendly and helpful. My only very small grip would be the quality of the black pudding, very poor and too thin to be called ‘black pudding’. I was very disappointed, as it’s my favourite breakfast item. Delighted with our room, very clean, well presented, lovely decor, everything worked really well, we especially enjoyed the powerful shower. We would definitely stay here again, and would highly recommend this hotel to all our family and friends. Thank you for helping in making our stay a memorable one with our very dear friends. "Very friendly welcome and very approachable and helpful. Room was good size. Bed and bedding fine. Breakfast simple but adequate. It needed topping up quicker though. Parking spaces got filled up quickly but you can park on the grass out front. Main gripe was bathroom which needed updating as it was very mouldy."
