Hotel owner phoned me at 10.38pm, waking us up, to ask where we were and apologise! What a joke. A formal complaint has been made to hotel.con who were extremely helpful...

Carpets in common areas have evidence of heavy use, but that's just a fact of life in a busy city centre hotel."

"A peaceful haven within striking distance of Dunkirk ferry port for us. Beautiful setting with lots to do. Not only pool and jacuzzi but also board games, books and pool table accessible. Very quiet but then we did stay on a Monday night. I'm sure it is busier at the weekend. Comfortable quadruple room with proper beds for all made this perfect for us and our teenagers to break the drive up from Bavaria."
