"An incredible property with stacks of original features. Immaculately clean. Olivier was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and great continental selection. Bar selection was good (although we didn’t partake) Garden and pool were lovely too. We would definitely return. Totally recommend. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "

"The swimming pool was amazing. The garden had different areas so good for finding the sun and we loved the bar and barbecue area.There was a big conservatory which allowed our party of 16 (8 adults 8 children) to enjoy a special meal in a spacious area."

"The lovely owners Pepe and Isabel met us at the house, showed us around, and explained how everything worked. The property is beautiful, with a fantastic pool area and gorgeous gardens that are very well maintained, and a lovely farm area with fruit trees. The house was spotlessly clean and everything we needed was provided for (no oven but an outdoor kitchen so we could bbq meat instead). Plenty of options for making a morning coffee or tea, which is always important! Great location for morning runs too - either up to Alora for a hilly run, or over the bridge behind to the villages/along the river for a run on the flat. Local people were all very friendly. Great location - shops and restaurants in Alora were walking distance up the hill, and the village just over the pedestrian bridge behind had small supermarkets. Some good restaurants nearby with lovely food too. Great hosts, stunning property, great location - I highly recommend."

"Overall the villa was very good but we had significant issues during the stay which I consider to be unacceptable.At various times during the stay, we ran out of fresh water, had no working toilet, had to allow access to an emergency plumber, even after putting the owner on notice 3 days before the toilet failed to work. We had the exterior toilet leaking flushed waste out of the pipe and the property manager who arrived with no prior warning and wandered intot he private area of the pool whilst guests were sunbathing, causing distress and embarrassment!The villa, equipment, kitchen, lounge, A/C, pool, location, entertainment, facilities and everything else were very good, the owner was communicative, but we should not have had to spend a significant amount of time messaging about problems and hosting visitors to fix issues whilst we were supposed to be on vacation.I will send a full email to customer service"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Mimosa.Steve and Helen have clearly put a lot of work in over the years to the house and gardens as inside and outside is immaculate.The garden and grounds are pristine and it’s clear to see the effort gone in to them. The pool is a good size and our kids enjoyed playing in it as did we to cool down in the July heat. There are lots of different seating options at the front and back of the house for dining or relaxing in the shade, which has also been clearly thought out and added over the years.Inside 3 good sized air conditioned bedrooms all with nice en suites. Large kitchen which is really well equipped. Large living space with 2 sofas and tv plus large dining table - plenty of tv channels available, which Steve showed us and access to Netflix, YouTube etc.Helen and Steve are lovely hosts. They gave us a nice welcome and contacted us in advance of our stay with details of how to get there. They also provided a welcome pack with a lot of food and drinks which was a really nice touch! They keep the pool and area clean in the early mornings. Nothing is too much trouble and Helen gave us some restaurant recommendations during our stay.We’ve stayed in similar properties with pools in Mallorca and Spain over the years but this is probably the nicest as it’s so well cared for by Helen and Steve. Big thanks to them and hopefully we will return again for another relaxing stay!"
