"We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. "This home is on a dirt road in Cuidad Ducal, a community of gates homes near the town of Las Navas del Marques. We used this as a base to drive to Avila, Segovia and Toledo for day trips. The home was clean and comfortable. We were able to relax in front of a fire in the evening. The setting was peaceful and quiet. Esteban was friendly and informative and was able to address our needs quickly. Highly recommended."

"This accommodation absolutely blew us away with its beauty, romance and location! It sits in a peaceful rural area next to a beautiful fig grove, and every morning the goat herd brings his flock past the house. It is on a no-through track so there is no passing traffic. The house is a converted school house so part of it is small and intimate (teacher's home), and then there is a stunning school hall adjacent.
