"Excellent breakfast and helpful ladies at reception. Didn’t use the pool on 5th floor but relaxing, reading and enjoying the view up there was just lovely. Central position of the hotel on the harbour made it easy to take the ferries and go to restaurants and bars. Downside : very noisy with tourists until late in the night, traffic, Vespas and at 5 am rubbish collection. No aircon so you had to open the windows to breathe. Luckily though, no heatwave in April. Get a room on higher floors or at the back."

"The grounds were beautiful. It is not walkable outside of the hotel so you need to take a bus or get a cab if you do not have a car. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only big issue were the rooms. Ours was very moldy, even the mattresses had mold on them. "

"This is the perfect lodging for your stay in Ischia. It's a short drive from the Ischia marina, where the ferry drops you off, but the public bus (less than 3€ a ride) is right outside of the hotel to get you back to the Ischia Marina where there are countless bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping on the island, or to Fario where you unlock another world of the island. So convenient! The hotel staff themselves are so accommodating, as well. The staff during our stay didn't speak anything other than Italian but we communicated over WhatsApp or Google Translate easily. I had a 6:30AM hike one morning and the staff not only made sure I had a car ready to drive me to the meet up location but they left out a cold breakfast and hot coffee in a thermos for me. So thoughtful and above and beyond what I expected. I hope to return not only to Ischia but to Villa Marinella!"
