"Beautiful accommodations, but the access to the apartment is a journey! Parking was also not easy. The place is accessed up a narrow road with tight turns, so you'll need to have a car that is smaller/ good for that. We arrived late in the evening and could not find close street parking. The available spots were all taken. We had to walk about a half mile (.8 km) from where we parked to the place. We dropped our bags off at the end of the road, but even from the closest parking spot, be prepared...

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Funicolare. We stayed in a family room, which was absolutely massive, with plenty of space for all of us and a very comfortable stay. The views were amazing and really added to the experience. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening and breakfast during our stay. The menu was varied, with plenty of choice, and everything we had was enjoyable. All of the staff were lovely and welcoming, but Luana at reception deserves a special mention. She was incredibly kind and helpful. We had unfortunately made a mistake when booking and selected the wrong dates, but Luana was so gracious and understanding and went out of her way to help us resolve the issue. Her kindness made a stressful situation so much easier. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hotel Funicolare. Spacious rooms, beautiful views, good food and genuinely wonderful staff."
