Our lodgings were immaculate. Our view was exquisite. The most special thing though is the amazing humans who hosted our stay. We came in strangers. And left friends. "We chose this hotel as unlike most, it had a pool - infact 2, 1 inside and 1 outside. We had a great room - large with seating area and a view of both the pool and the castle. Superking bed which was very comfortable. Disapponted no iron available. It is, by comparison to others in Tomar, a large hotel and whilst its used by coach tours its quiet whilst being in easy walking distance of the beautiful town and its attractions. There's a good choice at breakfast although the coffee machines take ages. The hotel don't seem to promote the restaurant for evening meal so we didn't try it. Would stay again "

"After not such so good start when management did not return my message requesting check in instructions, I managed to contact a helpful young man who met me at the premises and showed me our room. We stayed in a deluxe double room with balcony. The property has been beautifully renovated and our room was modern and stylish with a lovely comfortable bed. The balcony was beautifully traditional, with gorgeous views looking over the roof tops towards the Praca and the Convento de Cristo which was illuminated after dark. We would definitely stay here again if in the vicinity."

"Clean room but in need of better lighting to read by when in bed Instructions needed on how to use the remote control for the tv More hangers required in the wardrobe Air conditioning was great Nice breakfast Unfortunately it was very noisy on Friday night due to a music festival maybe you should consider supplying ear plugs to your guests on these occasions "

"The hotel is so beautiful. It’s well designed. It’s got beautiful furnishings. Staff was very friendly and everyone spoke English which was nice. They were very accommodating. The staff went above and beyond for me to make sure that I had everything that I needed. I would definitely recommend the Thomar Boutique Hotel. "
