"Wonderful accommodation in this mountain retreat. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. Very close to the castle. Loved the hot tub snd took advantage everyday. We added a 3rd day to just enjoy the experience. Dining options were limited but good. Recommended. "

"If you want peace and quiet at a good price then this will work for you. Easy access to good hikes. 15 minute drive to a couple of bigger towns and restaurants. Host gave good information about the area.

"The host is very attentive and eager for you to enjoy your stay. We liked being in the country. The kitchen is well equipped and the property is very close to a big grocery store. I think this location gives you good access to nearby areas (Serra Mamede for example) well as the points of interest in Portalegre. We really enjoyed the textile museum. Aida provided us with jams, oranges, and croissants for breakfast. It was a nice stay."
