Bed and Breakfast in Castelnaud-la-Chapelle

"Sarlat is a beautiful city, and La Villa des Consuls is an equally beautiful hotel. It has everything: wonderful/helpful staff, brilliant location, excellent service, and great breakfast. Staying at La Villa des Consuls made our visit to Sarlat and the surrounding area memorable. "

"Charming and very comfortable place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff - my wife is coeliac and they ensured there were options for her at breakfast. The breakfast itself was very good quality. Strawberries and biscuits in the room on arrival were a nice touch. Parking was arranged with the hotel before arrival and worked well in the covered car park which was only around 5 Minute walk. The hotel is in the centre of Sarlat and the square is literally just around the corner. Overall a fantastic stay and we will not hesitate to stay again. "

"Excellent small hotel right in the middle of the charming town of Sarlat. Literally two dozen restaurants, many of them excellent, within a 10-minute walk. Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend. Two things to note, without detracting from the above: street parking is metered during the day, and the optional parking garage spot (5-minute walk) must be reserved in advance and costs extra; and there is no laundry service (there's a laundromat not very far)."

"Very comfortable bed and the bathroom was spotless. The staff at the front desk and the lady at breakfast were always smiling and pleasant. The breakfast had a lot of healthy choices. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. "

"Very close to the medieval quarter. Was able to get pay parking right in front of the hotel. Rooms were spacious."

"Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the IBIS Sarlat. The staff went out of their way to make you feel really welcome and were incredibly helpful making suggestions on places to visit to make your stay memorable. When there was a problem with the TV, in the room, the staff did their utmost to repair it. When they realised they would have to call someone in, to solve the problem, they immediately arranged a move to a much larger room and helped transfer clothing/other possessions. They were like breath of fresh air and are a credit to the hotel chain. The room was also exceptionally clean which was a real treat to see. If only other hotels were like this. The other great thing is the hotel is located directly opposite from one of the better restaurants, in the town, and is only a 10 min stroll to the medieval town centre which is beautiful to walk around. "
