"This hotel is not even close rating 4 stars. It needs a major face lift: mold/dirt on balconies outside, inside the vinyl furniture is torn or has holes in many places and housekeeping took our extra pillows saying we were not allowed to have them! In our first room, the AC did not work at all and shower was terrible. Staff WAS very helpful and easily gave us another room. The AC in the second room at least worked though not well at all. It was always warm in the room. After the second morning...

"This place is such a gem. You feel secluded yet it’s only a short walk (or shuttle) to the sea and town. This was exactly the serenity and true Italian experience we were looking for. The staff were always exceptional although English is only understood by a few, but we laughed and gestured easily! The food was always outstanding with local specialities on the menu. The scenery and views from the hotel are some of the most beautiful sunsets we have ever seen. Highly recommend for a little slice of heavenly tranquility and wonderful service"
