The location is remote but that added to the charm and there is a town about 3km or so. There was air conditioning, WiFi , very large fridge and a washing machine. Der Vermieter war bei Problemen kontaktierbar, allerdings war mehr als ein: "ich melde mich die Tage" "ich kümmer' mich drum" nicht zu bekommen. Darauf ließ er es dann beruhen. "A great place to escape from the hustle bustle lifestyle. Tranquil peaceful setting is our first impression, followed by the friendliness of the staff. Room we had was one of the worst with no view and right next to a construction site. But this did not stop us from enjoying the well kept grounds and the infinity pool overlooking the Aeolian islands. Breakfast is adequate with plenty of savory and sweet choices. But dinner menu was limited with very few local fares. Gym is dark and outdated. Almost like an afterthought. There are signs of construction throughout the property and hopefully that means some pleasant surprises in the near future. "
