"We arrived 10 minutes early out of courtesy for the property owner. She left us standing outside for 55 minutes. Tried to contact her and VRBO. VRBO responded right away. But the owner only responded “OK” after our second attempt to contact her. The breakfast in the morning was some prepackaged junk that we didn’t eat. And there is a sign saying that the kitchen was for breakfast only and we couldn’t use it for anything else. We didn’t realize that there was no shower; it’s just a spa tub....

"Inizio col descrivere l'Hoste: persona gentile e molto disponibile. La struttura: centrale, sulla piazza di Laviano (borghetto piccolissimo e isolato), pulito, nuovo, munito di ogni comfort. E' presente uno spazio comune dove c'è una cucina fornita di tutto il necessario per la prima colazione e poi ci sono le singole stanze, ognuna con bagno privato. "The views are breathtaking. The cuisine is exquisite, prepared with love and regional ingredients combined in the most delightfully curious ways by Chef Antonio Minichiello. He even came out to say hello towards the meal's end. The wine is world class, as is the staff. Everyone we encountered (esp. Maria, Martina, and others) was polylingual and so helpful, sweet and lovely. We loved it so much we stayed an extra day."

"We stayed at Alyma V&B for two nights while visiting family nearby and had a great stay. The property is beautiful, and you can smell the fresh lavender as you walk around. It's a peaceful place in the country with lots of fresh air. Our room looked just like the pictures. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and everything was clean. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They let us check in early, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was included, and they even went out of their way to provide me with gluten-free options. We didn't get a chance to use the pool this time, but it looked great. We'll definitely stay here again when we're back in the area and hope to enjoy the pool next time!"

"A beautiful farmhouse shaped like a fortress just outside of Calitri. The host is very accommodating and helped me make some reservations despite not speaking English/my Italian being no good. Waking up to the birds was a treat, the bed was cozy and the shower worked well. It would be fun to have a bunch of friends stay there for a week. Definitely requires a car, I thought maybe one could walk in and out of Calitri but it's an enormous vertical distance, it would take hours."
