L’Abbazia di Montecassino is a beautiful abbey just a short taxi or bus ride from the town of Cassino. Founded by St. Benedict in 529 AD on the remains of a Roman heathen worship site. Beautiful views of the surrounding towns in Frosinone, Lazio and a ton of history. It was truly a serene experience.

The staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating to our kids. Everything was clean and as it should be if a little outdated.
