"Many years ago, Under the original owner this hotel was in much better condition. Unfortunately, it now appears neglected—especially in the pool and spa area, where the windows are noticeably dirty and seem to have been overlooked for quite some time. It gives the impression that little effort is being made to maintain or improve the property. Despite this, the hotel continues to charge high prices comparable to nearby, well-maintained hotels, which makes the experience feel disappointing and not worth the cost."

"This place was unsatisfactory. Between the weird baking sheet full of mystery meet they feed the cars and rotting tubs of fish this place cant get much worse."

"Our favorite part were the hotel grounds: beautiful views, extremely well maintained gardens, paths and water features with multiple sitting areas. Front desk staff (Michelle) super friendly and knowledgeable. Room was very comfortable, art deco style beautifully adorns the spaces, free coffee in the morning was simple and delicious. Walking the grounds in the morning or before dinner was lovely. The hotel is also very close to Hood River town and must see locations."
