"The best part is the gardens and pool area which is beautiful and well-cared for. It is good for a relax by the pool. It is good for families and couples. You must have a car. But this was not the right venue for us and I should have done more research. I found it was too far from town to access without a car, taxis are limited, and the venue only has a short food menu at set times or by advanced request. "This is an excellent place to stay in Calimera. The property is perfectly located in the center, steps away from the old town square where you’ll find great cafes, pastry shops and restaurants. Necessities like the supermarket, bank, pharmacy are all a short walk away as well. The property itself is very clean, quiet and well-managed. It’s the perfect place to rest in between day trips. "Lovely property not far from Lecce about €20 taxi ride. Anna was a perfect host with quick response via WhatsApp. She arranged the taxis, restaurant bookings and excursions. We did the Pasta making course with two other friends and had it cooked for us in our apartment and ate on the terrace. "

"2 night stay just outside Gallipoli. Beautiful masseria. Large room located down steps in a covered 'courtyard' area. Felt rather enclosed with no real outdoor view from the window. Unable to open window for fresh air as there were people smoking in the courtyard area. Comfortable room. All amenities in bathroom. Hot shower but unfortunately had one night with no hot water. Kettle & fridge provided. Breakfast ok. Partner enjoyed the coffee. "
