"I can't recommend the Marsili highly enough. The property is perfectly situated just on the outskirts of Cortona center. A 5 minute walk and you are exploring a fascinating, casual, friendly, safe and fun neighborhood. Every member of the staff went out of their way to meet our needs. We loved the breakfast as it was different daily and so delicious. The rooms were large and comfortable. We sat up in bed in the morning to outstanding views of the valley. It was out of a painting. "Check in and out was excellent, they were very flexible about meeting times. The apartment was centrally located (but still quiet!) with access to laundry, perfect split ductless AC (different temps in different rooms!), a dishwasher, and plenty of common space. The views from the apartment were amazing. There was a nearby church and bells every 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m (and various other times in between, which seemed to change everyday) which was lovely. There is a small grocery store right around the corner that had everything we needed. There is a free parking lot below the town and a very close parking lot that you pay by the hour. It was hard to find parking during peak hours but very easy to park early in the morning, in the mid-afternoon and late at night .You can drive insude the city walls and drop off luggage directly at the apartment, and then there is a very Italian drive out of the town (tight corners and narrow streets, not for the faint of heart). This was a wonderful apartment and we would definitely stay again!"
"The villa itself was beautiful, clean, and wonderfully equipped. The view was a pleasure every day. Our property manager, Stephano, was helpful and responsive. The isolated location was actually not a problem as we had a car and the drive to Cortona was not onerous. A grocery store was also nearby. It was the perfect setting for a once-in-a-lifetime family experience."
