Splendid view and very good location, but with some unpleasant features with the apartment

We had a great stay In Carvoeiro, but the apartment is difficult to find as the address is not correct. After a helpful call with abritel staff, we could manage to talk (in German only) with the owner, who helped us to find the place and gave the code to get the key. Some bad smell in the kitchen and bathroom was quite unpleasant. But globaly, i would recommend the stay.

Our holiday did not start well as we were not given the key code and spent 2 hours in full sun trying to attain it. Communication between the owner and ourselves was non existent. On entering the property we experienced a strong smell of drains in the bathroom. This continued during the entire week. On day 1 the electricity tripped and InterReal, the management company in Corveiro explained that this was because the property owner had not paid the bill. The fridge was set so low that it froze all our food. Our information stated that there was a hot tub, tennis and barbecue but this was not the case. We were unable to use the TV as there was no instructions. I suggest that you do not advertise this property again and I am seeking some compensation for ourselves for a very disappointing holiday.

Lage: hervorragend - Objekt mit Optimierungsbedarf

Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ließ zu wünschen übrig. Eine Info zur genauen Lage der Wohnung und Auffinden des Wohnungsschlüssels kam erst nach Anmahnung über FeWo-direkt zustande. Es fand keine Einweisung in die Wohnanlage statt. Die Lage des Objekts war hervorragend, nicht jedoch die Einrichtung. Die Beschreibung „Luxus-Appartement“ finden wir nicht zutreffend. Insgesamt ist der Mietpreis zu hoch, zumal für jede mitreisende Person ein Aufschlag erhoben wird.

Vor- und Nachteile

Die Lage ist perfekt, die Aussicht und der gemütliche Balkon sind sehr schön. Eine Entrümpelung täte der Wohnung gut, vieles aus dem Bereich Küche / Geschirr / Besteck ist im Übermaß vorhanden, die Schlafräume sind sehr eng und zugestellt mit Möbeln & Wäschetrockner. Die Sauberkeit war in Ordnung, abgesehen von Mövenkot auf den Balkonmöbeln (Korbmöbel sind keine gute Idee direkt am Meer). Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr schlecht, wir haben trotz mehrmaliger Nachfrage erst kurz vor unserem Abflug dank massiver Unterstützung durch FeWo-direkt den Zugangscode zum Schlüsselsafe vor Ort erhalten. Der Preis von ca. 190 Euro pro Tag bei einer Belegung mit 2 Personen im Oktober ist nicht gerechtfertigt. Wir hatten dennoch einen sehr schönen Urlaub, würden diese Wohnung allerdings nicht nochmals buchen.

die Lage des Appartements ist sensationell, direkt an der Bucht von Corvaeiro. Die Anreise war beschwerlich, weil die Adresse fehlerhaft war und vor Ort kein Ansprechpartner zu erreichen war. Der Zufangscode zur Wohnung war dann auch noch falsch!! Das kostete uns mal eben drei Stunden Nerven bei 30 Grad Temperatur. Das Innenleben des Appartements ist völlig überladen und bedarf einer Entrümpelung ! Das kostete

Perfekter Blick aufs Meer

Die Lage ist fantastisch mit dem perfekten Blick auf das Meer und die Klippen. Der Strand und der Ortskern von Carvoeiro sind nur ein paar Meter entfernt. Im August ist viel los, aber wir haben es trotzdem als entspannt empfunden. Vor allem Paare und Familien bevölkern abends den Platz. Das Musikprogramm ist nicht aufdringlich und endet um Mitternacht. Der Strand ist gut gefüllt, aber nicht dicht gedrängt. Wer nach Carvoeiro reist, sollte wissen, dass es kein Geheimtipp ist. Die Qualität der Restaurants ist sehr hoch, Reservierungen empfehlen sich bei manchen, aber wir haben meistens auch spontan einen Platz gefunden. Unsere Favoriten waren Pani (indisch, unbedingt reservieren), Kulinarium (moderne Menüs, ging auch ohne Reservierung) und O Cantinho (eher einheimische Gäste, besser reservieren). Die Wohnung ist voll ausgestattet, teilweise etwas unübersichtlich, hier wäre weniger mehr. Ansonsten nur über Treppen zu erreichen, dies sollte man einplanen. Zu viert mit inklusive zwei Kindern war die Wohnung groß genug. Bei vier Erwachsenen könnte es etwas eng werden. An manchen Tagen ist alles zugeparkt, wir hatten mit etwas Geduld oben vor bzw. an der Kirche (ein paar Meter vor der Wohnung) immer Glück. Besser nicht in die Straße fahren, die an der Wohnung vorbei runter zum Strand führt, da geht es mitten durch das Zentrum. An der Kirche rechts abbiegen und die Runde erneut starten, es findet sich dann meistens ein Parkplatz.

Annonce mensongère, communication nulle, galère

La surface de l’appartement est tout au plus de 55m2 pas 85 comme précisé. Sale, à notre arrivée avec une odeur épouvantable d’égout. Le linge de literie idem une horreur. Nous avons été obligés de tout relaver à notre arrivée. Communication impossible avec l’hôte, nous avons dû appeler 4 fois abritel pour obtenir le code d’accès. Contrairement à ce qui est dit dans l’annonce, l’hôte ne parle qu’Allemand. (Selon Abritel qui a pu le joindre après plusieurs tentatives). Enfin le ponton, l’agence Interreal de Carvoeiro qui gère aussi cet appartement est entrée en notre absence dans l’appartement. Nous attendons d’Abritel réparation de ce préjudice, une violation de domicile. Conclusion : mise à part la vue, cette location ne vaut pas le prix demandé.

Lage und Aussicht der Wohnung super. Leider Pech mit dem Wetter, Sturm und Regen. Die schöne Terrasse daher nicht nutzbar. Teilweise ist Wasser durch die Fenster und Tür in die Wohnung eingedrungen. Der tägliche Besuch der Möwen war zauberhaft😊

Sehr gute Lage und Sicht auf das Meer

Insgesammt hatten wir einen sehr guten Aufenthalt. In der Saison ist es vom Dorfzentrum her sehr laut durch Veranstaltungen. Aber ab 24:00 Uhr wurde es dann ruhiger und wir konnten gut schlafen. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, der abendliche Wind durch die Wohnung war daher besonders angenehm und ließ und selten im Stich. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet. Es gibt von jedem eher zu viel als zu wenig. Die Gegend ist phantastisch und bietet viel Gelegenheit für schöne Ausflüge. Alles in allem eine schöne Wohnung für einen guten Aufenthalt. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Notre séjour dans la villa de Philippe

Cet appartement est très bien situé. Il est magnifique. Nous avons demandé s'il y avait vraiment 2 chambres car 1 seule est en photo, pas de réponse, de ce fait, après avoir payé, nous étions inquiets quant au sérieux de l'annonce. Je vous confirme qu'il y en a bien 2. Une situation GPS Altitude Longitude serai nécessaire, nous avons perdu 1 heure à chercher l'appartement avec beaucoup de stress. De vrais draps de grande largeur seraient vraiment un plus car les housses de couette 90 x 190 sur des lits pourtant de très bonnes qualités et très larges, ne sont pas suffisantes. Le four ne fonctionne pas...et les plaques s'éteignent très rapidement ? Sinon c'est un paradis par sa situation.

Wohnung in traumhafter Lage

Die Wohnung war wirklich traumhaft und entsprach voll der Beschreibung. Sehr gute Ausstattung und ein herrlicher Blick auf das Meer. Strand und Restaurants bzw. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fußläufig. Für das Auto gab es am 50m entfernten Parkplatz an der Kirche immer einen freien Stellplatz. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen.

Traumhafter Urlaub

Das Objekt liegt wunderbar. Man kann Strand, Ort und Klippen sehr gut erreichen. Der Blick aus dem Appartement ist traumhaft. Carvoeiro ist sehr touristisch mit allen Vor- und Nachteilen. Wir haben Meer, Ruhe und das hervorragende Essen in den Lokalen sehr genießen können.

Toller Blick

Tolles Appartement, phänomenaler Blick aufs Meer und die Bucht von Cavoeiro. Da Appartment und Zugang mit Taxifahrer nachts im Dunkeln nicht so einfach zu finden war, besser vorher genau erkundigen. Frau Philipp hat uns aber toll geholfen mitten in der Nacht. Wir hatten teils sehr heiße Tage, es gibt keine Klimaanlage, würde Anschaffung für Schlafzimmer auch wegen lauter Musik abends in der Hauptsaison vom Dorfplatz empfehlen.Lage super zentral, Parken bei Kirche möglich.

Unfortunately our airline EasyJet cancelled the flight to Portugal so we were unable to say at the property and the owner ignored our numerous requests for help as did Vrbo. We made several attempts to explain the situation. I hope that the owner reads this review and offers a complimentary alternative week. We visit Carvoeiro frequently and require a well located property to stay. It is a shame that owners are not more flexible and understanding of the situation -that was completely out of our control.

Tolle Wohnung mit genialem Ausblick!

Die Wohnung ist nahezu perfekt! Es ist wirklich alles (und noch mehr) dort was man braucht!!! Der Ausblick ist genial und es ist zu Fuß alles super erreichbar! Ohne Klimaanlage wurde es teilweise recht heiß - Wir kauften uns im nahe gelegenen Supermarkt dann günstig einen Ventilator!

Erholsamer Urlaub in traumhafter Lage

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub in dieser super ausgestatteten Wohnung verbracht. Es fehlt an nichts. Wir haben oft gekocht und haben auch in der Küche nichts vemisst. Auch die Lage im Zentrum ist optimal. Besonders ist vor allem der wunderschöne Ausblick vom Balkon, von dem man nicht genug bekommen kann. Wir können diese Ferienwohnung nur weiter empfehlen.
