We slept in our clothes and coats on top of the bedspread bc we just felt things were not clean. The nightstand lamp did not work. Non of the usb outlets works in any lamp. The microwave oven was dirty. Worst was the door to the room did not have a secondary lock for security. They had been broken off. We jammed the one chair provided against the door. They required full payment upfront (2nights).
The fine print stated that once the check in paper was signed, no refunds were allowed, so we were stuck.
The motel seemed to house those who were otherwise homeless. Personal chairs outside doors and a BBQ was on a balcony. The “lobby” was always locked and I had to make a call to have someone check me in.
This is NOT the quality of motel I expected to find on Hotels.com."
