All the staff we encountered were fantastic! The room was very clean, the bathroom wasnt bad but definitelt dated and after a 15 minute shower the condensation was everywhere. The walls were ridiculously thin and with a very loud tv on next door all night the first night, we struggled to sleep. The second night was much better! The breakfast provided was wonderful and the mini convenience area was super helpful when I needed tylenol or a snack.

From the time i walked through the door until i left I felt welcomed and safe. Nick, the manager, greets everyone with a smile and a friendly greeting. Jill was also wonderful. My room was clean and smelled fresh. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The reasons for not giving the property an excellent are that there are gaps around the rooma doors allowing you to hear what is being said in the room if you are in the hall and what is being said in the hall if you are in the room. Also, the fitness center was not in working order.

We had a great stay at this Ramada. For the price there is a lot of value here and only a couple small complaints. Check in took a bit long because apparently there was some changes brought on by an update to their system, but the lady doing the check ins was apologetic and did her best. We stayed in the King bed suite and it was a nice, clean room. The pool was good, if not just a tad cold. Breakfast was great, several options including eggs, waffles, and biscuits/gravy. All the juice/hot coffee you could need. The hotel wasn't busy when we stayed so it wasn't a problem for us, but we noticed the walls are VERY thin on all sides. If you get noisy neighbors or people jumping around above you I could see it being an issue. Overall me and my daughter were very happy with our stay and definitely would recommend.

This room was $72/night, When I walked in the entrance was brightly lit, and decorated from top to bottom for Christmas. Everything was clean, and very nicely kept. The clerk at the front desk was gracious, and hospitable, professional, but personable. The room was IMMACULATE. The carpet was spotless, there was a loveseat, it was a big room. The mattress was extremely comfortable. Nicer amenites than many high end places that I have stayed. There was a very nice breakfast bar, with eggs, sausage and gravy biscuits, cereals, waffles, and really good coffee. Honestly, I cannot believe thiis room was $72. I jave paid twice as much for far less. Oh, and they had a pool also. Highly recommend.

Clean hotel with full breakfast.
Overall this was a nice hotel, nothing special but clean. It had a full breakfast with scrambled eggs plus biscuits and gravy. My biggest complaint was the check-in lady. She was quite bored and very remote with her speech. She even gave me a huge yawn while waiting on me. I found this very rude. And this was only about 4 pm. Did she really want my business? Thankfully the staff l met the next morning was very friendly!

Great hotel. Right near Kentucky Speedway if anyone goes there. Not real far from The Ark. Nice breakfast. Much bettter then what many hotels now offer. Rooms great. Our handicap needs were met. The only issue is that the older lady who checked us in was not friendly one bit. But other then that is was great place to stop.

This property sits on a hill overlooking the now defunct Kentucky Speedway. We chose it because it was halfway between two places we were visiting in Kentucky, The grounds and outside are nice but the rooms are in terrible need of a facelift. The bed and linens were comfortable, but the furniture is worn and dated. Our bathroom door stuck midway and so couldn't be fully opened. It stuck in the doorjamb, too, so it had to be forcibly closed. Not ideal for nighttime trips to the loo. Towels were thin to the point of threadbare.

For the price I can't complain. Yes, you will see mostly blue collar and hunters. But I will stay again. The painter did not clean behind himself well but that's the contractor fault. Housekeeping checks with you every day to make sure you have everything you need and empty trash.
