"not sure that the unit we were offered was the same as the one advertised. Due to physical limitations, we needed a property with no steps, and I thought the beekeeper's house was that. After some communication with the owner, it was discovered that we would have many steps, but they were accommodating and put us in a different first floor unit, which was very, very nice and enough courtyard with an old church. I enjoyed the ambience of the quaint little village area that we were in."

"Très bel appartement, bien agencé. Quelques ustensiles de cuisine en plus seraient utiles. Le son des cloches de l'église peut être gênant. Elles s'arrêtent vers 21h et reprennent à 7h. Nous partions tôt pour randonner dans les 5 terres et cela ne nous a pas forcément dérangé. Bonne situation pour visiter les 5 terres (20 min de Levanto). A noter aussi que l'appartement est un peu difficile à trouver selon ce que dit le GPS. Nous devons nous garer à presque 500 m sur une place de parking privé...

"Nightmare booking. Travelers beware. The "parking" is just someone elses driveway on the side of the highway. You need to walk along the side of a poorly lit road to get to the access door, and then its a 10min hike up the hill to your eventual accomodation.When we finally made it to our Starbox, the rooms were not properly sealed so there were bugs all over the pillows/bed when we opened the door. "Great location. We hiked the trails early am to avoid the crushing heat in July. Easy access to the train stations and steps away from all the food and drinks that one needs after a long day touring all the towns. We found our best restaurants were on the side alley streets. Apartment was very efficient for a few nights stay."
