  • Summary:
    Just a 25 minute drive from Mount Gambier along the coast line you will find Carpenter Rocks very own motel style accommodation. Located in a small fishing town Carpenter rocks is best know for it beaches, dirt bike and 4WD trails, swimming and great fishing spots.

    The Space:
    Our motel is brand new and offers 3 different private room types. This one "apartment number 2" offers 1 main room with queen bed and 1 single rollaway bed, a fully equip kitchenette with microwave, electric frypan, 2 burner portable stove with pots and pans, fridge and sink. No oven. A 50inch T.V, a desk and robe space. Free unlimited wifi and split system with heating and cooling.

    Please note this accommodation is not serviced daily only at the end of your stay.

    There is parking space on site.
    The main laundry is shared between the 3 private rooms with washer dryer and sink area.

    The motel is 40 metres off the beach and within walking distance to the local general store, tennis courts and the playground with BBQ area.

    Unfortunately there is very low reception for Voda Phone. All other carriers like Optus and Telstra have great reception!

    There is plenty to do in Carpenter Rocks if you have a 4WD jump in and explore the town!

Great rest spot!

Stayed at Zoe’s on our way to Adelaide and it was a great, comfortable stay. The place was exceptionally well equipped and very clean. There is very little in Carpenter Rocks but with Mt Gambier so close by it wasn’t an issue. Overall a very comfortable break!

A quiet getaway.

The bed was too high for my wife to get onto as she is only 148cms tall and has mobility issues. She slept on the trundle bed and was happy. I found the beds and bedding first class. We would have liked to have been able to access the wi fi. That was dissapointing.

A nice property, unfortunately the surrounding properties aren't so desirable!

Lovely property, very well presented, walking distance to the local tavern. Not a very nice outlook into surrounding properties. Single bed was only a trundle. Excellent communication from owner and easy check in. Enjoyed exploring the area.

Quiet and roomy

Nice quiet spot. Plenty of space. Kitchen is well set up. Shower is lovely. Very new and clean. Only couple things we noticed that would be good....a small two-person table in the kitchen area against the bathroom wall. Bench under the table is great for using computers etc, not to eat and watch TV. The outside carpark...there is quite a drop off from the cement pad. Someone's bound to back off the edge or even fall off. Over all, lovely and affordable accommodation. Thank you Zoe
