Nice house, good location, friendly neighbors. The house was new/updated/well cared for. We loved having our own pool and being right next to the path. The beach was a 0.5 mile walk from the house; perfectly fine for adults, just a touch further than we would have hoped with gear and kids in tow. It would have been nice had their been a floor plan included in the listing, because the reality of the upstairs layout was not what we imagined. The "loft" space with the trundle bed was at the intersection of the two bedrooms and shared bathroom upstairs. Our plan was to have an adult couple in each of the upstairs bedrooms and two children in the loft area, but the loft area was not conducive for anyone to sleep with any privacy, so we shared one of the bedrooms with our two children. Otherwise, there were just some minor things that could be addressed to make it a five star experience. The wifi password was not included in the app (or noted anywhere in the house), the microwave was broken, the gate between the car port and the pool was locked (so we had to go up the stairs and through the house to access the back yard), there were no wine glasses, there weren't really hangers in any of the closets, there wasn't a blender (which to be fair, the description didn't include, but would have been nice to have for a beach vacation). Just a few little things that, if the owners stayed in the house for a week would probably be addressed. If fixed, we would stay again!
