    Welcome to “Carolina Winds”, our second home that we selectively rent to guests, referrals and friends.

    This second row Condo features two bedrooms, two baths, and both ocean and canal views. Amenities include private pool, cable television, WiFi, 46” LED flat screen, flat screens TVs in both bedrooms, full-sized, front-load washer and dryer, granite counter tops and an over sized deck (14x20) that is perfect for outdoor dining and watching the fireworks. A queen bed in each room and a queen sleeper/sofa will accommodate up to 6 adults and pack-n-play will take care of the infant or toddler. The condo is nicely decorated with fun beach colors and is a fantastic place for a family vacation, romantic getaway or girl’s weekend.

    This Condo has multiple beach access points directly across the street. No need to load-down the minivan; the storage area includes boogie boards, beach chairs, an umbrella and buckets for building sand castles!

    We are a 5 minute walk to the Boardwalk which features the infamous Britt’s Donuts, seasonal rides, shops and restaurants, fireworks on Thursday nights and other major holidays and Sunday night movies at the lake. Just a few blocks from the condo is the Marina with daily departures on fishing charters, sunset cruises, dinner cruises, and boat rentals.

Our stay was super smooth! Kids loved having space while we visited the beach for spring break and loved the 1 minute walk to the beach even more! Everything was tidy and ready. I personally loved the large porch for morning coffee and a great view. We would stay here again!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This property was perfect for our couples weekend get away. It was clean, spacious, and located conveniently to the beach, restaurants, and shops. After a few negative reviews about cleanliness we were concerned but found the property to be in top shape for or stay. There was a closet with beach items and chairs that was an added bonus. It was alot of stairs to get to the condo but the reward was amazing views and an awesome balcony. We would stay here again and would 100% recommend.

This condo was fantastic! It was better than we expected! There are 6 flights of stairs (7 steps each flight) up to the 3rd level. But the ocean from view is definitely worth it! Very nice deck w/table & chairs is great for outdoor dining. Beds were comfortable & kitchen had everything needed! Pool very nice & a short walk to the beach! Only about 10 minute walk to restaurants & boardwalk. Highly recommend this condo!

We had a wonderful stay at the condo!!! And the view is absolutely gorgeous, especially when you can see a rainbow out on the ocean during a shower! Condo had everything we needed and was in a convenient location to stores, boardwalk, airport, ect. The walk up the flights of stairs was worth having the view on the top to see the ocean! Pool was nice to have to cool off. There was also a closet down below that the unit had with beach chairs and beach supplies, we appreciated that! Great communication with the owner when I had a couple questions! Would rent again!!!

This place could not be more perfect. Locationally a 2 minute walk to the beach, maybe a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk to get breakfast or lunch. We had a large group and it accommodated all of us perfectly. Whenever we had a question about anything, Brad answered within 5 minutes (even at 11pm). So thankful for that! We will be back!

I had a wonderful time at Carolina Beach as always. Condo was perfectly situated deck is amazing convenient to all of our favorite spots for food and drink. Needs a very deep clean. Attention to some of the back railing is needed. Garbage disposal needs attention overall a nice day just a very dirty condominium.

Really beautiful location, clean property, wonderful view from the fantastic front balcony, and super convenient to the beach, restaurants, and other great walkable spots. Hosts were really responsive with their communication, which I appreciated. I was so glad to have a few days stay here. A couple notes - Other folks have said it, but worth noting to just be prepared for the three flights of stairs up to the property, especially if you're loading a lot of luggage or have mobility issues. I didn't think much of it, but ended up feeling it when lugging some heavy luggage up and down on arrival and departure. Also, they make sure you have freshly laundered linens and towels, which you know because they are still wrapped from the laundry company, but does mean you're making your own bed when you arrive. Not a big deal, just could be a small annoyance if you're getting in later after a lot of travel. Finally, not sure if there was just something weird going on, but the wifi absolutely did not work the entire time I was there. I could log in, but it kept dropping, and was zapping my phone battery just trying to constantly connect, and my phone service for some reason didn't work well either. Again, nothing to drop any stars for, but just wanted to note for awareness for other folks. Definitely would highly recommend staying here!

The steps were our exercise!

The rooms were clean. The view was great! We enjoyed the patio. The pillows could be updated, and maybe the mattresses, too, but we were comfortable enough. I liked that we did have good parking, and the condo was secure. It was nice to have the kitchen. We used the coffee maker a bunch in the mornings! The beach access was very close! That was a huge plus! I was proud of us for making several trips up and down the steps! We are a not so young group.... between the three of us our total age is 208 years old! We crushed that step challenge!! We enjoyed our time in Carolina Beach!

The property in general was not bad. We did have to buy a filter for the ac because everyone started to be sick with allergies after the first day. My husband decided to check the filter and it was completely clogged. The place really needs a thorough cleaning for example the silverware organizer has dried food in it . The refrigerator was very clean . The pool was well maintained.

Living room furniture and beds were very uncomfortable. We did like that the linens and towels were clean and packaged. We liked the space. We did not know we were going to climb 6 flights of stairs and be on the top floor. I believe I misunderstood the ad and thought 2nd row was 2nd floor. We ate out while there so didn't use anything but the coffee pot which was advertised as a kerig but was a regular coffee pot. We didn't use there stuff as far as toilet paper or paper towels. We bought our own. Would sray there again though even though the living room furniture is worn down.

Short walk to beach & boardwalk. Fantastic view of ocean & canal.

I would definitely stay at this property again. Everything was as described. The owners were very responsive with any questions. Bedding & linens were provided wrapped. Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish and laundry detergent were provided. The storage room had beach chairs, umbrella, buckets, pool noodles, and boogie boards. The pool looked very nice, but we didn't go into the pool. The view of the ocean from the deck was great and we could feel the breeze from the ocean. The living room and one of the bedrooms open to the deck. The boardwalk is a short walk up the beach or street. There's food and ice cream within walking distance. Beach access is a very short walk across the street. It is on the third floor, which could be hard for some people - but it was worth it to me for the view. It would be nice if the first bedroom had a full view or big mirror. Otherwise, no complaints. Carolina Beach is a very nice beach and this is a nice, clean, and convenient place to stay.

Great location and size for our group!

The location of the condo is perfect - an easy walk across the street to the beach, and about a 10-minute walk to the boardwalk/restaurants, which made it very convenient for our group to get around. The size of the unit was good, and when we reached out for an extra set of sheets for the pullout couch in the living area, the host was very quick to reply and accommodate! Some things to note: (1) As others mentioned in reviews, the wall air vents were pretty caked up with dust/mold, and the air was very musky when we arrived. We had to air it out for a bit and even purchased air fresheners to try to cover the smell. (2) The condo does not come with very many amenities. You can read the description and see that no toiletries are provided, which is fine, but there was only one extra roll of toilet paper when we arrived, and there was no hand soap or dish towels to wipe down dishes. We ended up purchasing these things ourselves for the weekend, along with the air fresheners. (3) The sheets come from a cleaning company wrapped in plastic (which is actually reassuring to know they're fresh and clean), but that meant we had to make the beds ourselves. I guess it's expected when you choose to stay at a house instead of a hotel, that cleaning is involved, but making your own beds and purchasing your own cleaning supplies is a bummer. I could have asked the host for these things, but didn't want to be a burden since they were not local. Just some things to consider if you book here!

Great location…cleanliness was very lacking

We were excited for our beach vacation. When we arrived at the condo, the AC was on and was we were grateful, as it was a hot day. We had an issue getting on the WiFi but with a quick message to the host, we were able to get connected. We were there for about 2 hours before things went south. We were filling up the ice trays, when we noticed that the garbage disposal side of the sink was retaining water. We flipped on the garbage disposal and it would not work. We tried to use the reset button on the disposal but it still would not work. My husband reached in the disposal and discovered that there was a lot of leftover food in it. He pulled out a moldy meatball and refused to stick his hand back in there. I messaged the host a few times over the next 3 days about the issue as the condo started to smell bad as a result. Brad got back to me very quickly but unfortunately he was unable to get a maintenance guy over there before we left. When we went to take a shower the first night, we noticed that there was black mildew on the shower heads in both bathrooms. The refrigerator did not keep anything cold. It was up in the coldest setting but would barely keep drinks cool. The freezer did work. The AC filter was disgusting. We found unwashed towels in the washer and there were stains on the bed linens. Overall, the host was nice and responsive, location was great, but the cleaning crew was subpar. I would suggest leaving a binder with WiFi passwords and gate codes.
